The Coleman Maternity + Family Session

The Coleman Family has been with me since the beginning. Meaning, ever since I started offering portrait sessions, they’ve been there, even when I was newbie with no idea what I was doing! I’m glad I’ve gotten to document some of their milestones, and what I love even more is how much they value photography. Every time I walk into their home, there is a new framed picture up on the wall of people they love, and it makes me so happy that I get to contribute to it!

This session was actually taken a couple of months ago. Their sweet baby girl was just born, and I had the pleasure of photographing her as well. I figured I better get my rear in gear with blogging so I can share her images soon as well! Here is the Coleman’s family and maternity session!

Lauren and Caleb | WNC Wedding

I got to second shoot for the lovely Alicia White Photography once again! This wedding was at a gorgeous farm in Western NC and I fell in love with it the minute we arrived. I also fell in love with this couple, because of how they full of emotion they both were, and their sweet tears showed it. Here are my favorites from the day!

Emily + Brandon | The Bottle Factory in Monroe NC

As soon as I met Brandon and Emily, I knew I REALLY wanted to shoot their wedding. Emily walked into our consultation wearing a metal t-rex necklace, and I quickly found out that Brandon is in this awesome band. Both have the friendliest smiles and were both incredibly excited for this day to arrive.  And I can’t forget to mention, their engagement session was one for the books! A sunrise session turned into a foggy morning, making a unique backdrop, and their sweet love for each other took no effort at all to photograph. If you haven’t seen it, you should go here.

Their wedding at The Bottle Factory was intimate and focused on the ones they love. The entire day felt like a party, which I am totally ok with! From 80’s dance songs, ridiculous bridal party photos, a glow stick exit, and her GORGEOUS dress, it was an absolute dream to document.

Jessie + Daniel | Friends Farm in Winston-Salem

I love love LOVED photographing Jessie and Daniel’s wedding day. They kept things simple, beautiful, and incredibly fun. Jessie made the decorations herself, and made everything personal, using farmers market flowers, setting up an ice cream bar instead of cake, and getting her dress through Etsy. Her dress is certainly one to remember. I was head over heels for the her lace top for the formal part of the day, and the comfy Urban Outfitters top she wore for dancing was just as lovely. Photographing this day felt effortless, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it and celebrate these two. A huge thanks to the lovely people of Friends Farm for a beautiful venue and a seamless day.
