2015: New Year, New Blog, New Amy Ellis Photography

I can already tell that this year is going to be different. I’m on a different path than I was last year, and I don’t want to stray from it. I’ve been photographing weddings for a few years now, however my brand, my website, and my goals are fresh and ready to debut themselves. And it seems that with every year I gain as a love-story-teller, I fall more in love with the weddings and moments, over and over again. When I first started out as a photographer in college, I thought it would be a fun job to pay the bills. Now? It’s an honor and a privilege to capture each wedding with its unique moments and people, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Another tell-tale sign that this year will be great? The brides and grooms that I’m connecting with are incredible. I’ve booked some rockstars this year that I truly click with, their wedding locations are gorgeous, and they trust me to do what I do, which is to tell their story.

To commemorate this exciting year, I’m switching over to a new blogging platform. This blog will be easier to navigate, prettier to look at, and most importantly, be filled with lots of exciting content on a regular basis. I already have a few posts in the works, which I’ll be sharing in a few days!

Even with some challenging ups and downs, 2014 was so good to me and my camera. What year would be exciting without the challenges? I’m looking at 2015 in a new light and I’m prepared for the love stories, the growing families, and the big milestones ahead…and I hope they include you!

Hello, I’m Amy, and thanks so much for checking out my new blog. 🙂
